is going Top Alcohol Funny Car!
After the DIV 7 race at SAC raceway park, it was decided that COMP was not the class
to campain a car without a truck load of money. So the FIREBIRD with only 9 passes went on the block and was sold.
A racer in DIV 5 is the new owner and will be doing battle this 2004 season.
You would think that with a bunch of money burning a hole in my pocket i would start looking for a new car. The truth is, the money was spent on the Funny Car befor i saw a dime. with alot of thought and number crunching i came up with the reasoning that if i was going to be broke all the time, it would be better to be broke doing 5sec passes then 6sec passes! And i also thought that a Funny Car would be easyier to get sponsorship, then in a door car running in Comp or a Super class.
